Antique 13.25 Inches Watch Chain 18K Gold 1871
This guy is sooo old! From 1871!!! And he has full Swedish hallmarks to prove it.
He’s made in 18K gold and has cute little graduated rolo links from 5-7 mm.
All parts, hook, chain and clip are original to the chain and is also made in solid 18K gold.
I love the hook (23x12mm) which can hold your watch key and other pendants. This is the equivalent to a bolt clasp. It closes very securely with a little loop.
On the other end the chain has a smaller loop (18mm) that opens (it opens and closes with a little screw mechanism). This is totally secure and working perfectly.
The chain is 13.25 inches and sit beautifully as a choker around the neck. Please measure your neck before purchasing. This lenght feels very comfortable for me and I have room but this might not be the case for everyone.
I love all the elements on this one and I have already spend too much time playing with it. He can also be used together with another chain as an extender.
The condition is well loved with expected signs of wear due to age. There’s two links that have been worn a little thin near the clasp . The chain is not fragile in any way but if this bothers you, the links can be repaired by a goldsmith (price is set accordingly). Hook, dog clip, loop and key all in excellent condition.
