Bent Gabrielsen was active from 1969-1980 in Denmark where he did this extraordinary 18K gold bracelet with a big blue boulder opal.
The design of the bracelet is amazing and you can wear it in so many different ways. You can let the opal rest on your hand or you can wear it up on your arm…
The opal measures 30x12 mm and is set in 18K solid gold. The bracelet is solid through and through and comes in on a whopping 36 grams!!! So much good in this piece!
The opal boulder stone is the most beautiful perfect thing I have ever seen with flashes of neon green, pink, purple and blue.
The bracelet is fully marked for carat and maker on the closed gold back of the opal setting.
The bracelet is 3-6 mm wide. The inside circumference is 6.75 inches or 17 cm and the bracelet slides on. Super comfortable to wear.
The condition is excellent with minor to normal age related signs of wear.
In his career Bent Gabrielsen was selected for artist support by the government which very special and rare and only for the best goldsmiths.
